Forex reserves rise by $9.1bn – Times of India

MUMBAI: Foreign exchange reserves jumped by $9.1 billion during the week ended December 15 to $616 billion – the highest level in 20 months.
Since the beginning of the financial year, forex reserves have risen by $37.5 billion following dollar purchases by RBI. The central bank has been rebuilding the reserves.
